ILEETA Conference & Expo Scholarship Program
Each year, ILEETA is proud to offer scholarships to publicly employed ILEETA members, ensuring that the opportunity to attend our world-class conference is accessible to as many trainers as possible. This program reflects ILEETA’s belief that all officers deserve outstanding training, and by investing in trainers, we help ensure excellence is passed on to officers across the nation.
Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to attend the 2025 ILEETA Conference & Expo, held from March 24-29, 2025, at the Union Station Hotel in St. Louis, MO. Awards may include full or partial scholarships to cover tuition, travel, and/or lodging expenses.
Eligibility Requirements:
To apply for the ILEETA Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a current ILEETA member in good standing
- Be employed full-time by a municipal, county, state, or federal law enforcement agency or public institution.
Application Process
- Log in using your ILEETA preferred email address and password.
- Complete the online application form, including submitting two required letters of recommendation directly through the form.
- Estimate the costs of tuition, travel, and lodging for which you are requesting support.
Selection Criteria
Scholarship selections are based on:
- Financial need.
- Agency recommendations.
- Notable achievements, certifications, or awards.
- The impact the opportunity will have on the profession (for example, the number of individuals likely to be trained by the applicant).
- Preference will be given to members in good standing for at least one year prior to the conference.
