The International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA) is a membership-based professional organization committed to advancing the effectiveness and professionalism of law enforcement instructors, educators, and trainers.
Membership in ILEETA is open to individuals whose primary responsibility, focus, or mission involves training or educating law enforcement professionals and other public safety personnel.
Who Is Eligible to Join ILEETA?
You may be eligible for membership if you meet one or more of the following criteria:
Current or Former Law Enforcement / Public Safety Trainers
You are, or have been, a certified trainer or educator for a law enforcement, corrections, or public safety agency.
You deliver instruction at the academy, in-service, or command level.
Military or Federal Instructors
You serve or have served in a military or federal capacity with a training or education mission directly supporting public safety operations.
Private Sector Trainers Serving Public Safety
You provide training services, subject matter expertise, or instructional design for law enforcement, corrections, or public safety personnel through a business, nonprofit, or consultancy.
This includes firearms instructors, de-escalation trainers, legal experts, and scenario-based training developers.
Academic and Educational Professionals
You teach or conduct research in criminal justice, law enforcement, or public safety-related fields at an accredited college or university.
Corporate Partners and Innovators
Consider a corporate sponsorship if you are affiliated with an organization that develops, supplies, or delivers training content, curriculum, or technology solutions to the law enforcement training community.
