Since it was founded, ILEETA's motto of "Wisdom and Courage through Knowledge and Skill" has been achieved through the delivery of high quality training that fosters the safety of society's protectors. Through fundraising efforts, ILEETA honors those officers who sacrificed their lives protecting their communities. In addition, fundraising also provides assistance to the families left behind.
These efforts have led to the development of the Trinity of Dedication Foundation. The foundation's mission/motto of "Honoring Life-Preventing Death" is achieved through special events at the ILEETA Annual Conference and donations from members and corporations interested in supporting ILEETA's efforts.
Funds raised help support the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, Concerns of Police Survivors and the ILEETA Scholarship Fund. The ILEETA Scholarship Fund enables deserving instructors to attend the annual conference.
Events held at the ILEETA Annual Conference that support the Trinity of Dedication Foundation are The ILEETA Cup, The ILEETA Driving Skills Competition, The ILEETA Challenge, The World Cop Donut Eating Competition, and The Flat Foot Five. The ILEETA Conference also features a Silent Auction. Monies raised through this effort also help fund the Trintiy of Dedication Foundation.
