ILEETA Death Benefit To honor our sisters and brothers who make the ultimate sacrifice, ILEETA will donate $1000 to the family of any ILEETA member in good standing that dies or is killed in the line of duty while working in law enforcement, corrections, security, or military police activities. ILEETA's definition for "line of duty" is the same as that for the federal law enforcement standard, but applied also to corrections, security and military police activities. We will also pay this benefit to the family of any member who dies or is killed while conducting or participating in any formal training program. ILEETA will fund this program, not an insurance company. Technically this is a "gift", as ILEETA is not an insurance company.
