ILEETA International Training Conference and Expo
April
17 - April 21, 2007
In the Greater Chicago Area
The
International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA)
will conduct its 2007 International Training Conference and Expo, at the new
Westin Chicago North Shore, located at 601 North Milwaukee Avenue, in Wheeling,
Illinois (in the Greater Chicago Area), April 17 through April 21, 2007.
Developed for criminal justice instructors, this conference has a two-pronged
focus; keeping officers alive and safe from harm, and improving instructional
delivery to criminal justice professionals.
Never has a conference been held that is packed with so many options.
There will be a multitude of valuable topic offerings for instructors, training officers, and training administrators.
If you are an instructor and have a choice of only
one conference to attend in 2007, this is clearly the one!
The
2007 World Cop Donut Eating Championship will be
held at the Conference.
Additionally,
the ILEETA Expo will offer a forum where criminal justice professionals can
interact with manufacturers and distributors to gain information and learn about
cutting edge technology affecting the products and programs used in the
criminal justice training field.
NOTE:
Both the Westin and Embassy Suites hotels report that they are full. The
Red Roof Inn Chicago - Northbrook has set up a special rate for ILEETA members
(see the link below). The special rates are: $58.99 for one person,
or $63.99 for two people (Standard King Room or 2 Double Bed Room). A
Business King Room is $5 more, and includes a Micro Fridge and large work area.
