Brian Stover

Brian Stover is a 31 year police veteran, currently a sergeant with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He has previous experience with state, county and municipal police agencies in Illinois. Brian's areas of expertise include officer survival, firearms, less-lethal weapons, defensive tactics, baton and use-of-force. He is a court recognized expert in areas such as baton use, firearms training, and use-of-force. He has appeared on television as a use-of-force expert and on individual protection.

Sergeant Stover has been involved in the training of law enforcement officers since 1978. He a member of the Advisory Board for Police magazine, and was a member of the Advisory Board for Police Marksman for ten years. He is a consultant for Calibre Press and is the author of numerous articles and has contributed to several police texts. Brian is a charter member of ASLET, the vice chairman of the ASLET Firearms Committee, and ASLET's California State Director. He is also a member of NTOA and other law enforcement organizations.
