Meet John Bostain
ILEETA Advisory Board Member

John Bostain is a Senior Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA. John oversees Use of Force training for all basic training programs at FLETC and is also a lead instructor for the Use of Force Instructor Training Program (UOFITP).
Prior to joining FLETC, John was a police officer with the Hampton Police Division in Hampton, VA. As a member of HPD, John enjoyed assignments as a uniform patrol officer, narcotics investigator, patrol supervisor, detective and police academy instructor. John was also an entry team member on the Division’s SWAT team for four years. John has been a law enforcement trainer for the past ten years and has instructed a variety of law enforcement topics such as use of force, defensive tactics, firearms, defensive driving and others. He has also presented at a number of international training conferences.
John is a charter member of ILEETA. .
